Human.Studies

The courses of studies offered by the Evangelische Hochschule Dresden concentrate on four fields: social work, health and nursing, education and teaching as well as social management. The ambition that is pursued by the ehs in all of its courses is to offer high-quality education to students in terms of both their professional expertise and personal attitude. Furthermore, the ehs' profile, namely diaconal work, professional practice, international approach, is reflected in all courses and on all levels.

The Evangelische Hochschule offers Bachelors and Masters degree courses and has its own post graduate programme in the aforementioned fields. Students also have the opportunity to acquire additional qualifications in the fields of theology and diaconal work, for example. Particular emphasis is placed on part-time, in-service courses that address professionals in the social field who want to contribute to the long-term development of their fields of action through their own studies.
